Here’s the scoop: there’s absolutely no penalty to reschedule your session if Mother Nature decides to throw a tantrum. In fact, I encourage it. Because nothing kills the vibe faster than a soggy pup, a shivering human, or a camera lens fogged up like a hot shower mirror.

Sure, some dogs embrace the rain like it’s a personal challenge (looking at you, labradors), and sometimes that moody, misty PNW drizzle can add a cinematic touch to your photos. But before we go full “Notebook” in a muddy field, pause and consider a few things: Is your pet going to be happy? Are you going to be happy? And will the final images reflect the kind of magic you had in mind when you booked your session?

Remember, what gets captured is what happened. If your dog is soaked and muddy, I can’t Photoshop them back into a sunshine-soaked fluff ball. Rainy-day drama can be beautiful, but it’s got to be the right kind of beautiful for you.

So when in doubt? Let’s reschedule. Sunshine always comes back around.

First and foremost: safety is the sacred law of the land. If the idea of your pet off-leash makes your palms sweaty and your heartbeat resemble a techno track, then please don’t worry. Keep that leash on! I’m not here to test fate, chase bolting dogs, or summon chaos. I’m here to create magic, safely.

Thanks to a little post-session wizardry, I can easily make the leash disappear in your final images, poof! Gone. Like it was never there. The only thing I kindly ask? If possible, opt for a collar instead of a harness. Collars play much nicer with the edit fairies and help keep the final image clean and seamless.

So leash up, breathe easy, and let’s make something beautiful without any daring escapes.

My sessions typically book out 3-4 months in advance as I only allow for up to 6 sessions a month, allowing me time to focus on your images and give them the attention they deserve.

Within 1-2 days of our session, you will be provided an online gallery of highlight moments from our session together. From this gallery, you can select your favorites to receive a full edit. You will have access to your proof gallery for 90 days.
