I’m Jess, and I’ve been a professional photographer for 20 years. I graduated from USC’s School of Cinema-Television in 2004, where I studied documentary storytelling through visual narration. My passion is animals, specifically dogs. I was raised on a farm with horses, chickens, cats, dogs and I have a special place in my heart for all animals.

In addition to photography, I am an artist and illustrator. I will be starting my journey towards a MFA in Illustration from SCAD in the Fall of 2026. I love working in oil, acrylic, watercolor and alcohol inks. I do commission portraits as well as original works and prints.

When I am selecting my photos to deliver, I am looking not only at their portrait quality, but also at the story they tell. My gear is high end professional Sony Mirrorless with a variety of incredible lenses. Our time together will not be uncomfortable or stressful. Just the opposite - it will be a time for us to create some beautiful lasting memories with you and your best friend, to honor your love and connection with each other, to highlight their personalities and to finally schedule some special focused time with your best friend that will yield you the most beautiful memories to last you a lifetime.
